The Pants Make the Man

Springtime is the perfect time to spruce up that wardrobe. Men's pants silhouettes are a-changing, and we have complied the 5 key trends for you to keep up with this season.

Dad Jeans

dad jeans (n): 1. unapologetically loose-fitting jeans, typically with a slightly higher rise than standard jeans
2. NOT a fashion faux pas...when styled the right way, of course!

Levi's 501 lovers rejoice! With 90s style making a soaring comeback, it only makes sense that dad jeans are here in 2016 in full force. They make for an effortless, modern touch to your everyday look. Even in a hurry, they can make a simple outfit with a tee shirt and sneakers look trendy by simply tucking in the tee and cuffing the good ol' dad jeans! Don't let their stigma discourage you: Dad jeans are cool, and with the right updates and pairings they are most definitely not stuck in the past!

The Ugg Boot

“Other than Jimmy Choo, UGG Australia is really the only other footwear I have in my wardrobe.”
Tamara Mellon, OBE, Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Jimmy Choo

Ugh, Uggs. Aside from Crocs, the Ugg boot is the most hated-on footwear by fashion-conscious individuals. Especially on a college campus in the Midwest, Uggs boots are everywhere during the frigid winter months, but rarely are they worn other than a comfortable addition to a slouchy outfit. With its humble beginnings on the shores of California, the Ugg brand has certainly evolved from sandy beaches and surf culture. When Australian Brian Smith brought the sheepskin boots to SoCal back in the late 1970s, America was quick to adopt the trendy new footwear to its wardrobe. Ugg popularity expanded even more during the casual-look explosion of the 1990s. In their prime during the early 2000s, Uggs were seen everywhere from runways to Oprah. Although it may be hard to believe today, Jimmy Choo even joined forces with Ugg to create a capsule collection in 2010.
