Spring Makeup Focus - Jeffree Star Cosmetics

Jeffree Star has always pushed the envelope with trends, fashion, and cosmetic wear. In 2014, he developed his own cosmetics brand, Jeffree Star Cosmetics, showcasing amazing color palettes and signature looks featuring his high quality Velour Liquid Lipstick and other products. Though his makeup line is still evolving (regular lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes coming soon!), Star has created a new niche in the cosmetic world, and we are obsessed.

Why Børns Has Gotten the Best of Us

It’s the beginning of the semester and we’re still getting back into the swing of things, which means we’re still religiously scrolling through social media to distract ourselves. Our social media focus has been on the rising star Børns – a Michigan native who has stolen our hearts.

Børns has an eye for fashion & he definitely shows this talent on his 'gram– recently showcasing this Gucci suit (‘cuz he’s the bomb). He has fun and colorful wardrobe too, always thinking out of the box with statement pieces like his Sunflower shirt and his sick sunnies.

New Year, New Creations

With 2016 arriving more abruptly than expected, we decided to escape the brutally cold weather and the return to classes with a trip into the magical clouds. We released our inner emotions and creativity by forgetting about pressing responsibilities (just for a second!) to showcase our favorite spring colors and trends. Some lighthearted collaborations of carefree attitudes and imaginative accessories were created from a new aesthetic this shoot and are shown below. Here's to making this year more inspiring and successful than last!

A Recap of Men's Style Currently Seen in the Windy City

While taking a quick little trip to Chicago, a new type of street style was able to been seen across the entire men's fashion of the city. From the dramatic shoe game to the casual, city-goer looks, the inspiration of style was bursting at the seams from every Chicago native that embodied minimalism with a twist of masculine flare. The styles were simple and comfortable - perfect for guys on-the-go, just like OSU students. A bold windbreaker for the guys paired with a neutral shirt and a classic cuffed pant makes for a stylish, yet practical outfit in the city. Throw on a pair of amazing sneakers and get going! Students of Chicago were seen wearing minimal trends and monochromatic colors with a few statement pieces here and there. Some detailed skinny jeans, a simple shirt, and a rad leather jacket create the ideal student look in Chicago. On those bright spring days, add on a cool pair of sunglasses to complete the look.
