Why Børns Has Gotten the Best of Us

It’s the beginning of the semester and we’re still getting back into the swing of things, which means we’re still religiously scrolling through social media to distract ourselves. Our social media focus has been on the rising star Børns – a Michigan native who has stolen our hearts.

Here’s why:

1. His look

Børns has an eye for fashion & he definitely shows this talent on his 'gram– recently showcasing this Gucci suit (‘cuz he’s the bomb). He has fun and colorful wardrobe too, always thinking out of the box with statement pieces like his Sunflower shirt and his sick sunnies.

2. His sound

Not only does he dress to the nines, his music has been sweeping the nation and can be found on the social media forms of Youtube, Spotify, & Apple Music. His new album, Dopamine, has resulted in both national and international tours, as well as playing at Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits in 2015, and playing at Coachella this summer. His mix of Indie Pop and Psychedelic Pop has been pushing him to the top, and just this past December he made a pit stop right here in C-Bus.

 

3. His 'gram
Lastly, HIS INSTA! Børns has been slaying on the Gram lately, sporting his awesome style choices in immaculate places. Not only are his pictures sensational, his captions are clever and witty, too. His combos have us wanting to live vicariously through him – especially in this cold weather and snow.
