How I style Boyfriend Jeans : Winter Edition

How to Style Boyfriend Jeans: Winter Edition
A good pair of Boyfriend Jeans is a wardrobe ESSENTIAL! They can transition through every season and they can be dressed up or dressed down! Seriously what gets better than that? This is how I like to style my boyfriend jeans, especially for the "warmer" winter days!
Jeans: Starting with my boyfriend jeans, they are from Pacsun and they are by the brand Bullhead. They came pre ripped, but I will say that I do have a slight obsession with ripping my jeans so I sort of further distressed some of the holes! (Washing and drying also helped with that!) A great place to get Boyfriend jeans is actually the thrift store! Because baggy jeans were a big trend in the 90's, and about 80% of the things you can find at a thrift store derive from the 90's or earlier, you have a pretty wide selection for jeans ranging from around $1-$10!
Top and Belt: I like an even balance with my clothing, so if I'm wearing baggy jeans then I will wear a tighter shirt, or if I'm wearing skinny jeans then I will usually pair it with an oversized, flowy, or more baggy top.
My top is the Prima Ballerina Top from Free People in black. It's rib stitched which is my all time favorite pattern!
Also, my belt is the Embellished Western Belt in black from Free People! I think it is the perfect accessory, and I also have a weak spot for anything embroidered or embellished! A great place to get fun, creative belts for a good price is the store Flower Child in the Short North.
Booties: Black ankle booties are a must have for your wardrobe also, but I'll go into more detail in another post! I think the best way to pair boyfriend jeans, especially in the winter, is with a pair of ankle boots. Mine are from Discount Fashion Warehouse the location on the West Side of Columbus, they were $15! You can find booties like mine almost anywhere though.
Dress up Boyfriend Jeans: I dressed up my boyfriend jeans by throwing a blazer over it! My blazer is the Yesterday's Muse Velvet Jacket from Free People. I think it brings the whole outfit together and adds a sort of sophisticated look to what was originally meant to be casual. You could exchange the ankle boots for something with a higher heel and now you have a cute night out look!

Thanks for reading! Until Next time Xx đź’‹
