Rainy Day Tunes

An oldie but goodie, one of my all time fave albums to mellow out with on these lazy rainy days is OK SWEETHEART' "HOME". This indie pop band of four is from Seattle, WA and this is their only album thus far. Give it a listen, I assure you it will not be a waste of your time. Enjoy xx

&& If you happen to be traveling to Texas for SXSW music festival over this break, be sure to catch them March 18th, 9pm @ The Local!!!

A Road Trip Remedy

As the chilly weather has creeped upon us here in the city, I often find myself cuddling up in my cozy abode with a good book and some coffee in hand not wanting to leave my house. I am sure you all can relate to this feeling. My soul aches for adventure & I tend to get a little lost in my mind, daydreaming about mountain views and seaside hues. A couple weekends ago, I embarked on a spontaneous 5-hour road trip to a cottage in the Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia and got just what I needed. Most people hear 5-hour drive and start to cringe, but put on the right tunes and you’ll find yourself arriving in no time. Mellow out while getting a little carried away with some Passion Pit, let your thoughts run free, take in those breathtaking views, and just drive

Bonnaroo 2016

The lineup we have all been waiting for was revealed last night on "Conan", and I hope you're all as stoked as I am! With three very impressive headliners: Pearl Jam, Dead & Company, and the recently reunited LCD Soundsystem, this fest should be nothing short of amazing. For its 15th anniversary the festival will return to Manchester, Tennessee  from June 9th-12th. Be sure to check out the lineup poster below before tickets go on sale via the festival website January 22nd 12 p.m. EST.
