Columbus Street Style

Mural painted by Columbus artist Ketchup during 2x2 festival

Shawn and I took advantage of Ohio’s temperamental weather today and we found ourselves over by Rice Paddy Motorcycles…
Columbus is known for many things, but specifically its swift fashion incline within the United States. Atlantic Magazine ranked Columbus as one of the top three design centers in the U.S., behind New York City and San Francisco. Not only is Columbus known for its big name companies, such as Abercrombie & Fitch and Limited Brands, but also for the independent designers. Two boutiques featured in my photos today are MADE BY NGO and Sole Classics. Sole Classics is one of the nations premier sneaker, apparel, and lifestyle boutiques and the owner of MADE BY NGO, Ngockhanh Ngo, recently accepted a design position with Urban Outfitters. These brands elevate any outfit.
Shawn’s subtle aesthetic is appealing but not extravagant. He has a strategic way of dressing and mixing brands. It just goes to show that you don’t have to look hard, or far, to find some high quality, attractive clothing. Columbus’ got you!
